Gypsies from shanty towns of Slovakia
Slovakia. Poprad. 2010. In Slovakia, as in other European countries, the Roma suffer from exclusion and living on the margins of society, in difficult conditions. Poprad, the second city in the east and its surrounding region has a large number of slums where 20,000 Roma survive. Often hidden in the landscape, their locations indicate the outset that they are unwanted people. Even the fringe of Gypsies who moved up in class and sedentary denying its origins.
